At the ballpark the Jefferson Park Penguins outscored the ice-cold Dart
Weasels 9 to 6.
Jefferson Park scored 6 runs in the 6th inning with the help of 5 hits. The
highlight belonged to Derek Jeter who silenced the crowd when he launched a
Grand Slam homerun (his 12th of the season). Ricky Bottalico was perfect in
the ninth giving him his 3rd save on the season.
J.C. Romero(2-1) allowed no runs in 3 innings, and picked up the victory. Kirk
Rueter(4-6) was hit with the loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving
up 6 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings.
